Seven years ago, we were in search of the best GPS platform for advanced tracking solutions. And finally, we came across Wialon. The biggest advantage of this platform is that we can integrate it with a lot of different devices. Besides, technically speaking, Wialon is a very fast system and supports many maps. It's one of the platforms our company offers to customers, and the one we dig the most.

We were also pleased to realize that Wialon can meet client requirements for various niches. If you want to track public transport, boats, trucks, smartphones, people, animals, or whatever, Wialon has specialized features and devices that have already been integrated for that purpose. If you want to integrate your device, there’s no problem either. Thus, Wialon is not just a tracking system, it is much more, and our advanced users are happy just as we are after seven years of collaboration.

Among other benefits, I can point out good technical support, workshops for the partner community, and regular system updates, to name a few.

We use Wialon since 2010 and are still happy that we made this decision. As a consulting engineer, I love the flexibility of the whole system, 24/7 support with short response times, a fantastic API, uptimes of 99,97% (my measurements), and a very very competitive price scheme that is in my eyes unbeatable.

For end users, the whole WebGUI and the external apps (also for smartphones) are easy to use. We never need to do any trainings with end-customers. And with more than 1 Million units on their software running, the developers must have made something right (it's the largest most used professional tracking platform in the world).

What we like the most is its completeness: Wialon has several modules, beyond the regular tracking, that serve very specific purposes (maintenance, routes, eco-driving, and so on...); and if your end-customer or your company needs something else, that special touch, we've found the development tools very helpful for that purpose. 

I would define Wialon as a Minotaur in a good way. It has the strength and power you look for in a software, and also that very human and personal touch of it's flexibility and of course, Wialon's team and community. Cons: Least? No idea how to answer this questions. Flaws are minimum (99.9% uptime), and some UX details that you easily get used to. 

Bottom line, we love it.
